I love the idea of this and was seriously going to buy one. But I live in Vancouver and wrote to all the local mountains (Cypress, Seymour and Grouse) as well as Whistler and all of them said they are not allowed in the resorts. And as I don't have a sled, or don't really want to be hiking in the backcountry, I decided it would be pointless to buy one since i couldn't use it anywhere. I really hope they come around in the near future and if a brand of snowscoot could get in co-hoots with one of the mountains to demo and sell snowscoots, I think they could do very well for themselves!

The Red Bull coverage is amazing! We having been following the WC DH for a few seasons and never really followed the XC, but with so many cameras on course it made for awesome viewing! We also thought the course was great and nice to see some techy sections that really showed that XC MTB is not just about fitness anymore, you have to be fit and able to handle the tech. Great to hear Rob Warner on the commentary!

Yup, totally agree. Smart decision for her to sit out this one if it means she will be healthy to compete in the rest of the WC. I just love the fact that women's racing is getting more media attention and all of these girls are fantastic riders!

So, CET is GMT+1 and we live in Vancouver which is GMT-7, so that means the race will be showing at 5am our time, and the chicks will be before this (super keen to see if Tracey Mo is going to be there and if Tracey Hannah can give Racheal and Emile a run for their $$!), so thinking I'm prob not going to get up in time to watch this!!! Does anyone know if Red Bull is going to have replay available?
